Duties and responsibilities:

i. Inspecting higher education institutions and units directly under the Ministry of Education as well as overseas Chinese institutions;

ii. Managing affairs such as comprehensive coordination, policy research and institutional construction; preparing and implementing inspection plans;

iii. Training, deploying, supervising and managing staff inspections in conjunction with relevant departments; providing advice and recommendations for the application of inspection results;

iv. Supervising other issues related to inspections.
