To promote more equitable and higher-quality education, we need to fully mobilize engagement among primary-level government bodies by giving them greater autonomy, avoid one-size-fits-all education policies, and better target education resources. The diverse needs of children with different aptitudes and from different regions and family backgrounds should be taken into consideration. Each and every child should have access to a decent education. More government spending on education should be used to facilitate capacity building of teachers, curriculum development and the building of an education evaluation system.
