To improve graduate employment, local-level governments should put forward and implement more incentive policies to attract and retain talents, build a bridge between employers and higher education institutions, and encourage employers to adjust their ways of recruitment to speed up the process of contract signing with job-seeking graduates. Meanwhile, higher education institutions should build a well-organized administrative system to facilitate student employment, provide better career counseling services to students and actively reach out to potential employers.
