Jampa Tsering, born in September 1978, is the principal of Changguo Township Primary School in Saga County, Shigatse City, Tibet Autonomous Region. 

After graduating from Lhasa Teachers College, he has been dedicated to education in a border area for 21 years. He loves his students, treating them as his own. He often offers counseling to students with learning disorders and helps underprivileged students get medical services and adequate daily necessities. 

He also seeks to constantly improve the professional ethics and competence of all teachers of his school by organizing weekly learning sessions, with a view to building an excellent teacher workforce. He has won the honorary titles such as the “National Model Teacher” and “Outstanding Teacher in Tibet Autonomous Region”.
