Photo 1: Students learning rural Chinese painting techniques used in farming communities. Yuannan School in Luxi County, Pingxiang City, Jiangxi Province launched a program to encourage students to explore Chinese traditional culture, especially Chinese rural painting methods. The school compiled a textbook to learn these techniques and conducted provincial-level academic research on the subject. Together, teachers and students created a 160-meter-long painted scroll depicting the 24 solar terms of the traditional Chinese calendar.
