Principal of Luwan No. 1 Central Primary School, in Huangpu District, Shanghai

She has devoted herself to basic education, and has kept exploring methods to educate kids about moral values and responsibilities, as well as ways to cultivate whole children. She is committed to equality in access to quality education and balanced distribution of educational resources through concrete actions. She helped develop the capacity of suburban schools in Shanghai, and trained teachers from underprivileged areas of China. Her outstanding contributions have won her a number of awards, including the 2nd prize of the “National-Level Teaching Achievements”, and the “Exemplary Educator of Shanghai” title.
